Your 4-Day Amazon Journey
Transfers & First Contact With the Forest
Your guide meets you at your hotel in Manaus for a journey that begins even before reaching the lodge. The boat ride across the Rio Negro reveals the sheer grandeur of the Amazon. Upon arrival, an orientation walk introduces you to local wildlife and plant life, with a briefing on jungle safety and etiquette. The evening closes with a regional dinner and check-in to your jungle accommodation.
Jungle Hikes, Fishing & Night Safari
An early start takes you deep into primary rainforest on immersive guided hikes, where your guide unlocks the secrets of the Amazonian ecosystem — medicinal plants, animal tracks, the living orchestra of the jungle. In the afternoon, traditional artisanal fishing on lakes and jungle streams using techniques passed down by riverside communities. As night falls, a canoe safari reveals a completely different world: caimans glowing in torchlight, pipa frogs, tarantulas and the natural bioluminescence of the Amazon.
Sunrise, Riverside Communities & Forest Camp
Rise before dawn to witness the Amazon awakening — a symphony of birdsong and mist rising from the river as the sun breaks through the canopy. The morning is dedicated to visiting traditional riverside communities, where you connect with local families and learn about their way of life, medicine, and relationship with the forest. As the day deepens, venture further into the jungle to set up camp beneath the stars — sleeping under the canopy, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
Igapó Canoeing & Return to Manaus
Your final morning begins with a serene canoe journey through the flooded igapó forest — a magical landscape where trees rise from still, dark waters and pink river dolphins surface alongside your canoe. Glide through flooded forest corridors in silence, absorbing the last whispers of the Amazon. After a farewell meal at the lodge, the boat transfers you back to Manaus, carrying memories that will last a lifetime.

Guide's Tip
Pack light — you won't need much in the jungle. Dark or earthy colors (green, brown, khaki) are best for wildlife spotting and help you blend into the forest. Avoid white or bright clothing that attracts insects. When in doubt, less is more.
